GEAR REVIEW: BLACKFIRE RECHARGEABLE WATERPROOF POCKET FLASHLIGHT

Looking for a handy and bright pocket rechargeable flashlight?

Well Blackfire has a great one that offers so much more.

I got a chance to test out the Blackfire Rechargeable Waterproof Pocket Flashlight and here is how it performed.

THE CLASSIC SURVIVALIST

If you have never heard of the Blackfire brand you certainly have heard of the famous Klein Tools who is the parent company of this outdoors oriented company.

Now let’s take a look at the Rechargeable Waterproof 275 Lumen Pocket Flashlight. It is a 4.25″ long plug in rechargeable flashlight that has a removable lanyard and a very handy dual direction clip. You can even clip it to your hat for hands free use. It has has four power modes: High at 275 lumens (3 hours), Medium at 100 lumens (5 hours), and all-day Eco setting (12 hours) and Strobe that will run an incredible 47 hours. Power up with the included USB-C cable and by sliding the collar down to expose the concealed charging port.

THE CLASSIC SURVIVALIST

There is a Tri-color LED light that keeps you informed on the power level left. Green is full charge.

THE CLASSIC SURVIVALIST

Waterproof and dustproof this little flashlight is ready for a real test. Also it is rated for a 10 foot drop. Not planning on a 10 foot drop but from my pocket in a treestand it certainly is possible!

THE CLASSIC SURVIVALIST

I had the chance to carry it during my adventures out in the wilds, on our little farm and at home. First off I really like the light has a memory of the last power level light used and will return to that. Heading out to and from the deer stand I was able to return over and over again to the lowest power setting and avoid using the brighter light modes to avoid scaring game. No need to click through all the settings.

THE CLASSIC SURVIVALIST

The dual direction clip is amazing. Clip the light to where you need to light your way. Clip it to the brim of your hat for hands free operation. It is now a headlamp ready for use in your pocket! This proved ultra useful when setting pest traps in the barn and checking on the chickens. There were no dark corners for anything to hide in and escape discovery! Working on projects the little light was handy riding in my front pocket. Small, and handy, it always tags along now and has become an important tool for my everyday life.

In summary of this review the Rechargeable Waterproof 275 Lumen Pocket Flashlight worked perfectly and held it’s charge quite impressively. From farm yard duties in the rain, to hunting back as far as my legs could carry me, the flashlight worked flawlessly. I highly recommend the Rechargeable Waterproof 275 Lumen Pocket Flashlight. Also, be sure to check out the Blackfire brand website for more great gear and also the Klein Tools website for all of your tool needs.
