LESSONS FROM HISTORY: WW2 RATIONING & MEALS THEY CREATED (VIDEO)

Times are getting tougher these days.

It’s time to look back at how our grandparents did back when rationing food was a real life struggle.

Check out these WW2 recipes that stretched the dollar and resources as far as possible.

YouTuber Weird History shared a great video on how the rationing of food and products back in World War Two worked and how citizens stretched meals.

Currently with shortages and other troubles a reality here and abroad, looking back at the old recipes grandmother used to cook back in World War Two should be required reading. When times got tough, they improvised in some surprising ways especially at the dinner table.
